Probably closer to a 3.5, but I'm such a fan of Ruth Ware that I'll round up. Had me second guessing myself a few times. I waited for this book for almost a year, and now I have to wait for her next one

Definitely a book to set up the series. Felt eh about the main romance, but the supporting characters redeemed the story itself.

I loved this story & relationship, and now I'm scared to start another one because I'm worried it won't compare

Okay, this was just as much fun as the last one. I was not emotionally prepared for Evie & St. Vincent to be reintroduced at the beginning of this in their older years so happy still - but I loved it.

The book style is so 80s but the themes are so timeless and I loved every minute of it.

Definitely creepy & dark. Wish there had been a little more show-not-tell with the character backstories, but decent for how short it was.

Still really good - but for me personally it didnt quite reach the level the other 2 did
