This book was just...meh. The characters felt flat. Dialogue was blah. The plot drug on FOREVER! I was dragging myself through this book because the story has so many weird plot holes that were never addressed. The MC is an adult but acts like a teen.  Just...not a vibe for me overall.

A fantastic spicy re-imagining of The Picture of Dorian Gray. Loved the Irish folklore and mythology elements throughout. Was a lovely surprise.

A sizzilingly spicy spin on the mythology behind Krampus. A must-read for those who enjoy a fun and sex twist on folklore.

Two holiday royals fighting for an engagement to a princess they both don't want. This felt very reminiscent of red, white, and royal blue but with more fantasy magic elements mixed in. I thought it was a fun and flirty holiday romance perfect for Christmas or Halloween.

This is a story of two friends trying to gain better fortunes so they can improve their current situations in life. The book revolves around a card game called fortune's kiss, with artwork on them that reminded me of tarot cards and a scoreboard mark off that felt like a bingo sheet. The setting was dark and seductive with rounds of trials for the players, similar to the Caraval Series. Overall, it's a good read.

This was an enjoyable fantasy tale that had a bit of a twist. The quest is over and done, and now, ten years later...we come back to revisit what has befallen the once heroes. It took a while for this story to get the ball rolling, but once all the characters got introduced, things really picked up. What really upset me was that ending. The characters learned to grow from their grief, and then suddenly, that huge defining moment in their life was suddenly just *changed* with no repercussions.

The characters all felt so similar to me. Also, this was labeled a standalone, but I feel like I was missing a lot.

I'll admit that I approached this book at first with trepidation. I had heard some off-putting things about it. However, once I started reading, I simply could not put this book down. It was witty and comical. I love all the dark humor. The gore honestly did not bother me at all. The male MC reminded me a lot of Alastor from Hazbin Hotel. I enjoyed this book so much that I immediately ordered the rest of the series.
