i can't believe it's over 🥹🥹 

this was so different!! the more serious undertone, along with the different setting and situation, made it feel incoherent with the rest of the series. don't get me wrong - it's not a horrible book, and i lived for the drama, but i didn't enjoy the plot as much as the others. the arranged marriage/amnesia just didn't really hit for me the way it was delivered. eli and ava had no business being this bland and flavorless 😭

all the cameos were my favorite part <3 

THE WAY I AM LOVING THIS SERIES 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 this book is my ROMAN EMPIRE and it just can't be topped (like niko lol)

& even if it wasn't perfect, it was perfect to me!! niko and bran are so special and deserve their hard earned HEA.

nikolai sokolov. our scary sunshine. he was somehow both unhinged and adorable, and his love for bran was everything!! one of the most loyal characters ever & the greenest red-flag in history 😭 BOY WAS DOWN BAD-OBSESSED AND I WAS HERE FOR IT.

brandon king. i just wanted to give him the biggest hugs. his character was the one with the most depth and such genuine and relatable struggles. the pain he went through every day was heartbreaking and to see how he was able to fight and overcome it all with the help of nikolai (and his family and friends too) was so moving.

niko was there for bran as much as bran was there for him, and couples who have each other's backs like that will always remain #1. you could just feel how IN LOVE they were, because it was so genuine! i've never felt this connected to or emotionally invested in a couple before. god i love them so much, they're everything!!! 🥹🥹

this felt like a GOM and GOW collab, they just remixed it.

landon king 😮‍💨 i honestly didn't think i'd like him that much, but i take it back! being inside his mind was pure insanity. he's a psycho, and he's never pretended otherwise - but somehow, he invented his own kind of soft. it was his feelings and his desperation for mia that made this book amazing!!
he learned sign language for her, memorized her coffee order (and brought it every time they met up), watered her plants, learned to cook for her, and was even trying to be more empathetic 🥹🥹  

& mia is such a baddie! it was so refreshing to finally read about a strong headed fmc again 😌

this book was overall really good! the “nerdy” girl and mafia cold-as-ice guy?? love that dynamic!!

i was worried that cecily would be the “i'm not like other girls” character, but she wasn't that bad. did i end up liking her? well yes, but she'll just never be my favorite character.

jeremy was seriously unhinged and i enjoyed every second of it. he ain't your boyfriend if he doesn't throttle you to the point of passing out just by the mere mention of another man's name (mostly landon's). he's the literal definition of insecure and possessive!!
& a mafia prince overthinking the meaning of a 💖 is worthy of a literature nobel prize as far as i am concerned.

that said, loads of sweet moments were merely just mentioned (lots of telling and not enough showing) and we didn't get to actually feel their love. i was hoping for a little more drama, action & feelings.

didn't love this, but didn't hate it either. i was really enjoying it until i got to the second part of the book. compared to god of malice the plot wasn't as strong or clear (this story did not go where i thought it was going to AT ALL) and the last 30% felt unnecessarily dragged out, and i wished they would've wrapped things up earlier. there's also no need to write a book with BDSM themes when one of them is 17. otherwise a fun and fast paced read.

this book starts out darkkkk but i loved it. the perfect balance of flirtatious fun, great banter and deeply twisted obsession. 

are they the most healthy people or couple? nope. do they cross several moral boundaries? um, yes. 
make no mistake, killian is morally black. he has zero redeeming qualities and is 100% the villain (quite literally a psychopath), but he is glyn's villain❤️‍🔥

i'll never not love a grumpy man with a soft side. it's finally teddy and gus time!!! & they were always meant to be together 💗💗💗 both of them are caregivers at heart and so full of love for everyone they care about. they complement each other perfectly!! and i loved riley

make your love interest nick miller coded and i am SEATED. miles, i see you and i love you! him and daphne are so sweet together i'm so jealous why isn't love like this in real life 🥹🤌🏼

i loved going back to rome, kentucky. the first two books were so sweet, and i love this charming little town and its characters so much. noah and amelia, will and annie (!!), hopefully james' and madison's book next, and now, jack and emily.
this was super adorable and fun and i absolutely loved reading it 🤭 

oh to be loved like jack loves emily 🥹 we love a man that listens and isn't afraid to be vulnerable. he was so respectful and so genuine and so amazing and just so UGH. the scene of him bursting into her living room holding her manuscript full of his notes was giving married couple 🫂
