This was so adorable! I definitely see why so many people love it, and I’m happy to say that I fall into that camp as well. While I personally thought the feelings Nick and Charlie felt for each other came on a lil quick, I also know that that’s a personal preference of mine — I love my romances to be the slowest of burns possible, lol. Regardless, it was a cute (sometimes emotional) story, and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the characters next!

This is going to be a soft DNF for now — I’m not feeling it, but I’ll pick it up again sometime soon!

I couldn’t renew it again from the library :( but I put in another request for it! I was liking what I was reading so far.

I’m soft DNFing for right now — it’s super interesting but pretty dense and I can’t give it the time it deserves. Hopefully in the New Year!

Unrated for right now because I’m not sure yet what to rate it. BUT. I did really enjoy it — all the characters were a delight (minus Staten Island, though she was interesting as a character). The pacing was a bit weird (the story was over, what, a few days? A week?), but the writing was very nice, atmospheric. I wished we saw more of New York the avatar, but I also understand that this is a first book in a series, so we’ll see where it goes.

Overall, it was a great reading experience, if a bit of a slow start on my part.

…oof. I was really let down by this, which is sad considering I was super excited for it! But it just fell super flat for me — the writing was choppy, the characters were flat, and the plot was…basically non-existent. I wished I could’ve liked it more 😭

I’ll have a full review on my blog, Kait’s Cozy Reading Corner, soon enough!

I’m usually not one for thrillers/mysteries, but Linsey Miller is one of my ride-or-die authors, so I just had to snag it! I wasn’t sure how I felt in the first quarter of the book, but I felt that it really picked up after that and made for a quick, tense read. I loved the exploration of grief alongside the impossibly high expectations we often place on high school students, especially as they’re getting closer to graduating and starting the next stage of their lives.

I’ll have a more in-depth review on my blog, Kait’s Cozy Reading Corner, soon enough!

It started off really strong, and then it went completely off the rails in the last half. I wasn’t expecting a masterpiece by any means, but I figured it would’ve been better than...whatever the fuck that was, lmao. I’ll have a full review on my blog soon (spoilers included!).

Ino-Shika-Cho! Ino-Shika-Cho! Ino-Shika-Cho!

Honestly, though, I was happy to see Kiba, Hinata, and Shino, too. Seeing all the different Konoha squads again…my children ;-;

The whole “look how sexy I am” thing Kishimoto has with these 12-year-olds is…weird 🥴 but I still really enjoy the story, and I’m glad we get to see more of Sakura!
