Still very good! The Zabuza arc is honestly one of my favs — we get to see the trio develop and learn to trust each other!

Pretty good! I love getting back into it after years of not picking Naruto up. I love the characters and the artwork, but I forgot about how everyone is an archetype. And the way Sakura is written makes me grind my teeth, though they’re all pretty one-dimensional starting out, tbh.

Oh my fucking god, that was incredible.

I though Chloe was good, but this one? Fucking phenomenal, holy shit. Absolutely amazing, I loved it. Dani and Zaf were both completely adorable, and I loved seeing their relationship pan out. Also! Fake dating! Yes!

I want to get back to this! I just haven’t had the time to delve into it like I’ve wanted.

What a cute book! I initially checked out the ebook via Libby because I forgot my book at home while I was at work and wanted to read something. One thing led to another, and I finished it today as I sped through it all in under five hours.

It was a very cute story, and I love love love Liz! Her anxiety/panic felt so similar to mine when I was in high school, and her relationship with music felt close to home, too. Seeing her rekindle her friendship with Jordan was phenomenal, and her budding relationship with Mac is super cute. Regardless to say, the characters were super relatable (minus the whole prom thing, lol), and I wish it were longer.

Great book!

(Sadly, this was during a time when I was clawing to finish any book, so keeping track of content/trigger warnings wasn’t a priority for me. Apologies!)

Very character-driven! If that’s not your thing, then you probably would have a hard time — it’s pretty dang slow otherwise. But I had a lot of fun listening to it and can’t wait to start on the next one!

Did not finish book. Stopped at 33%.
None of it was working out for me: I didn’t feel anything for the one-dimensional characters; the magic and its origins weren’t really explored as far as when I stopped (everything just sort of...happened); the themes that were starting to emerge seemed too simple for me. I could go on, but I think you get that I just have issues with this book.

(Also, I like how the only queer character we see so far is a side character that gets two seconds of fame when he explains how his husband and the rest of his family died 😐)

I think if I started this right after I finished the other KonMari book, I would've like it a lot better. But since I took a break in between, I just felt...bored, tbh. Hopefully inspiration strikes me again, and I'd be able to finish it!
