Game, Set, Match by Nana Malone

Good writing. Loved the plot and characters. Thought Izzy was stuck in the past too much though so that part drugged out. Really didn't like the crude love scenes for my taste. otherwise I would have gave it five stars. Nice reading about a tennis player and photographer something different for a change. I'll read more by this author.

Interesting characters. Fast moving story with lots of mystery to solve. Lots of twists and turns with great descriptive writing. Joe, main character, must find who killed his adoptive dad. His dad was a politician caught up in a powerful web of people. As Joe investigates, he discovers several secrets along the way. Great suspense! Will read more by this author.

Excellent suspense. Great characters. About Corporate America. Janet is layed off from her job and her boyfriend of five years dumps her. She takes a job with a New York premier boutique investment firm because her best friend helped her get the job. The best friend is a terrible friend. Lots of drama at the job and outside the job. Janet discovers some things about her new employer and confides in Dean, an IT engineer. An interesting relationship blossoms. Excellent writing and keeping me turning the page. Ready to read the next book to see where things turn.
Eating Bull by Carrie Rubin

Excellent writing! Excellent plot story! A thriller that kept me turning the page. I liked how the author gave chapters to main characters. She gave the reader in-depth view what the character felt and who they were. The story is about Jeremy, Eating Bull, who struggles with obesity from lots of fast food, sugar eating, and little exercise. He is a teenager being raised by a single mom and they live with her very bitter, name calling dad. Between his abusive words and kids from school, Jeremy battles with drowning his sorrows with food eating. Jeremy meets Sue, a health nurse, who convinces him to sue the fast food industry for being a part of his obesity. This lands Jeremy in the public eye and in the middle of a serial killer's obsession with getting rid of obese people. Very exciting thriller! Read it to find out Jeremy's outcome. You won't regret it!
The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever by Julia Quinn

Set in 1800's in England. A young girl, Miranda, falls in love with her best friend's older brother. She begins to keep a journal. Miranda is not as beautiful as her friend but she is very smart, observant, and straight forward. This is a delightful book! Love the characters and it is an easy read. Lots of sarcasm! An amazing love story filled with laughter and years of falling in love. Terrific writing!

A funny and well written romance mystery. Characters are great and loveable. The second book I have read by this author. Single mom, Maggie, ends up in the middle of a murder ring which her new boyfriend is accused of. She goes through emotions of whether he done it or not. She is a lawyer. Her ex-husband manages to move back in with her and creates turmoil with the boyfriend. Funny and lots twists. Great reading.
