This is an amazing follow up to her book Out On a Limb. It’s about High school sweethearts Caleb and Sarah. It’s about their struggles in marriage and what they do to fix them. I love how they get their own book after being Sid-characters in the first one. This was an all around amazing book and I so hope that there will be another one.

I really did not expect to like this book as much as I did. I’m new to the whole romance thing and have not read that many of them so I went in not knowing if I’d like it. Especially since it was a pregnancy trope book. It ended up being super well done. It surprised me with how the romance was portrayed and done. Such a good friendship to romance in it. I can’t wait to read the next one in the interconnected stand alone series soon.

This book was shockingly good! I chose the book based on the title and cover and boy am I glad I did. This book is for people who like dark academia Romantasy with a magical school and a Greek mythology retelling. It is about an assassin Kiara who has to survive in a dangerous academy and discover it secrets. I plan to pick up the next book as soon as I can and recommend this to everyone.
