This is a southern gothic book about a girl named Dove who can hear the bones of the dead. This book has so many twists and turns I did not see coming. This was such a fun easy read and I loved Dove and her two friends as well! Overall this as a great well written mystery and I can’t wait to read more from this author.

This book is a Romantasy set in the same world as Daughter of the Moon Goddess with lots of myth. The story blends romance and mythology in a way that feels both magical and exciting. The characters are relatable, and I loved how the myths were woven into the plot, making the world feel vibrant and alive. Overall, it’s a wonderful, engaging read.

I thought this book was such a fun drama filled read. It’s the third book in the American royals series. What if George Washington had said yes to being king. This is a fun easy palette cleansing series that I love. I can’t wait to read the last one.

The Tale of Kore by Amanda L. Rautio

Did not finish book. Stopped at 18%.
I was excited for a book about Greek gods but ended up disappointed. I DNF’D this 60 pages in after reading five chapters. The story follows Corey, a college student studying classics and Greek mythology. While I expected a fantasy, it’s mostly focused on Corey’s classes and campus life with a bit of magic thrown in. There are lots of details about what she does in each class, which made it feel more like a story about college than one with gods and magic. If you like books with a lot of academic focus, this might work for you, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. Thank you NetGalley for letting me read this anyways.

I was grated an offer from NetGalley to read this and review it for them. Thank you so much for that NetGalley. I absolutely loved this book. When they said it was like the cruel prince and The Selection mixed I just had to read it. I love books about fae and I love the competition aspect. I love how Ivy had to compete for the Fae Princes hand and all the deals and twists and turns that came with it. Such an amazing book. I can’t wait for it to be published so others can read it as well. I will swiftly be getting my own copy of this.

This was a fun and cozy read with a likable witch navigating his everyday life with magic. It had some charming moments, but it didn't stand out to me. The story was enjoyable, but I expected a bit more. Overall, it was good but not great.

This was a really fun book! It was amazing for the fall time. I really enjoyed its unique take on shadow magic and morally grey characters as well. It has so many twists and turns that I did not see coming. Holly Black really outdid herself this time. I look forward to reading more by her.
