Tends to jump about. A writer with ADD is how I felt the story was led.

This is the novel that started detective stories as we know them today. It spurred thrice as many radio shows back in the day. From interwoven conspiracies, webs of lies and betrayals, greed and murder, all it takes is a beautiful dame with the right amount of cash to send Sam Spade hunting for the truth.

Not a single movie is even close to being accurate in telling the Three Musketeers. An adventure containing love, loss, conspiracy and loyalty, the villain is not always the villain, and the lady is sometimes Milady.

A modern fairy tale with great lessons for children. Work hard, obey your parents, and you won't turn into a donkey

A love story. A mystery. A must read for anyone who is a fan of the play.

It was a really challenging read for me. I've read quite a few classics and I've never had so much trouble deciphering what the characters are saying. Nonetheless it is full of information and gives great insight to the whaling profession back in the 19th century.
