Nothing warms my heart more then two characters obsess over their own undesirable qualities and them loving each other like it’s breathing

This is kind of hint of magic in the real world stuff I like. Clementine and James discover each other in different points of their lives but they also found the true essence of who they are. It was kind of trippy when you think about how present Clementine knew about James’s future and present James knew about her past and future. Their love story brought me to tears. The moral of the story also made me to do some deep soul searching myself

The writing was amazing in this book. I liked how it talked about heavy subjects without being overwhelming.
I also liked seeing what goes on in writer rooms for tv and film. Helene and Grant’s love story was interesting with how they started but I liked how they brought things in each other that no one could.

After hearing all about Declan from booktok and my past experiences with most Lauren Asher books, I was hesitant to read this book. I grew tired of the morally grey billionaire type and was afraid Declan was another Alex Volkov or Christian Harper. I was dead wrong. Declan is obsessed with Iris in a “she understands my inner being and I can’t function properly without her,  so I will do anything to make sure she shines” kind of way. Most billionaire romances I read with mortally grey mmcs are “she is a valuable thing that I own and NO man can come near her or else they will get a bullet wounds to the head”.  I’m not that toxic anymore (unless it is absolutely needed).  However I’m he’s still not my type in book boyfriend (shoutout to Iris for having a crush on Lauren Asher’s BEST MMC Santiago Alatorre). It was still cute how they knew each other’s inner workings and did their best to help them thrive.

This is like a cute furry version of Reign but way less Traumatic. Francis my boy you are good and deserve the world. Mary you are my freaking queen! And Catherine you’re on my list 🔪

I am currently at the stage in my life where I don’t know where I’m going. I feel like I’m just stuck in the bad part of my life. This book for filled my fantasy of my future life. But it also made me realize to cherish every current moment good or bad.
The thing I’m interested about the ending
Is when she “went back to the past” did her future self just get her memory back or did it feel like she was waking up and someone was in control of her body??? This is the same question I have about the midnight library. But in a way this really did happen because her friends remembered her talking about the wish machine

Also I also fell in love with the husband.  He was kind, understanding, SCOTTISH, and he was a great cook and father.

This is how a hockey romance is supposed to be. I love how both of them were hockey players helped each other practice. I haven’t read the Off Campus series so I don’t understand all the cameos or Easter eggs. However idk I will be continuing with this series. Minus a few points because I feel like there were way to many sex scenes.

Big family summer vibes! Made me feel so nostalgic. No real plot or suspense, just cozy summer read
