I enjoyed this short story. We are thrown into Miles life and we don't know if he is going crazy or not. His mother and sister died in a car accident and he starts seeing his sister. I couldn't put it down. I would have liked the story to be longer.

Another good one by Robert "Galbraith"! I liked that we got more background for both Strike and Robin. Finally we know more about Robin. And that ending!?!?! OMG, I need the next book...NOW!!!!

I find myself open to certain things that can be controversial, which was why I wanted to read about this book once I heard about it. A couple adopt identical twin boys and from the age of two one considered himself a "boy-girl". This covers the family's painful and tough journey as Wyatt becomes Nicole.

Nicole was very lucky to have two supportive parents. (Though it took dad longer to accept his son is actually his daughter). Not every transgender has one parent. For that she was lucky.

You also learn more about the "transgender movement" and how this family and Nicole herself contributed to it.

Anyone curious about transgender or if you have a transgender family member, or even a transgender friend should read this book!

I enjoyed this book! I read it in 8 days which I usually average 2-3 weeks to read a book. The thing is I knew there was a twist and I figured out what that twist was. If I had not figured it out, I know I would have been blown away by the book, especially with the last line! I will be reading Pretty Baby next.

The premise interested me and I found it a good book. I listened to the audio book and it was a short 5 discs. The book was more about being gay/lesbian than transsexual in Iran. I wondered how the book was going to end, and I was happy with the ending. At times Sahar seemed very immature and quick thinking about what consequences to what she might or might not do. That comes from her being young. I would recommend the book.
