Yes. Lukyanenko does it again! I loved this book, like all the others for that matter. It delivered what it promised, both in form and content, though sometimes it was just a tiny, tiny bit predictable; nonetheless, I was gripped.

I missed the old quarrel between Zabulon and Geiser, I really love those two, especially Zabulon, he can be so much fun! And Anton, he changed, I know, that's how it's supposed to be, but he was younger and funnier and he did those mistakes that made him a very attractive Light Other. Perhaps it's to be blamed the fact that his inner turmoil is doesn't reach the same heights like in the previous books.

I liked a lot the new characters and how some old ones changed, like Arina, something that I was somehow expecting. I'll always be a cheerleader for Anton not matter what. What can I do?I fell in love with the guy, blame the writer for that!

Unfortunately I can't go deeper and explain some stuff or else I'll spoil it and I don't want that. Read it and see it for yourselves.

I don't even know where to start. I mean seriously, this book is worse than Twilight. I would gladly read that, but I'll never ever read any book written by this lady. I finished reading it because I was so damned curious how bad it could get, and trust me, I wasn't disappointed: it was beyond any expectations.

The characters, oh the characters! I'd start with Ever, dimwitted, self-centered 16y old girl who has some abilities after her whole family died in a crash. Then she began blaming herself, yada-yada and now she's this very emo version of Bella Swan who listens to music that she doesn't even like and dresses up in a very ugly way though she's drop dead gorgeous (!!!). I can't believe that such a stupid and egoistical creature can freaking be a leading character. She and her gang of idiots annoyed me the whole book. Then this Oh-so-awesome-dude that it's so Edward perfect come into the picture being a very "Katty Perry - Hot and cold" dude. Really? CLICHEE!!!! And lets not forget this Drina, another perfect creature who surely despises our girl; who can blame her, Ever is so annoying! Don't worry, Drinna is not that smart either. And then her aunt that I didn't had the opportunity to love or hate since she conveniently barely appeared in the book, though probably she was the only pleasant character.

The story was so poorly said that I wanted to gag half the time and poke my eyes out. Waiting for something that was never delivered, just waited for it to get better, at least worth of my time. No, didn't happen. Some writers are probably made to torture poor readers. This book is plain stupid, with stupid characters and sloppy writing and cheesy, extra cheesy lines.

0 stars!

I liked this book, it was okay written, but it disappointed in the end. I expected something more than the ending that I got. Hell, the beginning was more interesting! I was waiting for something to happen and it didn't happen. The resolution wasn't more than 3 damn pages. That was all. Too dry the ending.
But all in all it wasn't a waster of time. I think I'll read the next book in the series only because I'm curious if the author does it better the second one.

Wrist-cutting, jaw-breaking, eye-pocking book! I don't know if it's the worst book ever or just a very god candidate for the position. She tried, we can see that, it's in plain sight, but it's just soooo not working. Okay, let me explain.

This Lilly is obviously shy and unusually good as a person with qualities that would make me puke even from the start. She doesn't know anything about family live, her mother and father being close to non-existent until they disappear! Ram-pam-pam! And here I was hoping that something good was gonna happen. No, wrong! She leaves her flat in London, after living with two old spinsters and she dies her hair and chops her clothes, and arrives in Canada in a very loving environment. And there must be a secret! Sure, we know the recipe. Sooooo, after dreaming and sulking and whateves, she meets this cool, hot guy, who's 17 and they hook up even if she's just... 13! yup, you got that right! Damn, jail bait for the poor boy.

Then she sleepwalks, smth happens, they broke up and we don't even hear from him again... ???? why???? I hoped 'till the end smth will happen. nope. again.

So what does happen next? She transforms, not in a Raven (Then why the title? can someone explain plsss?), but in a cat she goes to the elders with her grandfather where she's attacked by her wicked stepmother. I know i don't make a lot of sense, but the book isn't helping.

I waited more than 150 pages for smth to happen and then i wanted to finish it just because i wanted to see how bad could it be. Very!

The writing sucked, the story sucked.... Another twilight fan writing another Twilight-wannabe book! *facepalm*

good points: The cover! oh, i loved the cover. And the first few pages were pretty good too, I thought it was a gem but I was fooled. not the first time :/
