I really liked this short prequel. The writing is good and the story is interesting and I'm always into twin power. Unfortunately is way too short, but when I'll find the novel, I'll give it a go, until then, 3 stars and some sparkles for this one.

It was okay, but not enough so that I'll want to look up the series. I would've been far more interested in the Grimm world than another story where the characters have sex and she is "oh-so-not-ready-but-willing" and he's chasing after her butt. really? it has been done sooooo many times before... and the writing has nothing special, I could read a dozen book like this and I couldn't tell a damn difference.

I rarely give one star and now I did and let me tell you why.
First of all, Caitlin, the main character is as dumb as cockroaches. Seriously? How can someone be like this? And a vampire being so silly... more than Bella from Twilight silly, she's damn-right stupid. She was surprised the whole book about something and kept reminding me that her newfound power is new.
And then, in the middle of the book the pov changes and I don't know what to expect.. jumping from character to character, then back at her again for like 50 pages then it's jumping again... bloody confusing. And when it's a fight... she's oh-so saved just like that.. and just like that she falls for the skinny, wimpy Jonas and then for the oh-so-strong vampire Caleb that risks everything after he saw her once. seriously, worse than Twilight.
I'd cut my wrists before reading the other books.
