Beautiful Ugly by Alice Feeney
5.0
This was such an intriguing psychological thriller. This book had me questioning everything throughout the story. I loved the atmospheric island setting and the dual povs in this book as well as the unreliable characters. This book was a bit slow paced at times, but it didnβt matter because I still didnβt want to put this one down. Beautiful Ugly had a lot of good twists, especially at the ending. If you are looking for a good thriller, you may want to pick this one up.

The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia

I struggled to get into this one. I liked the overall concept of this book, but I didnβt really care for any of the characters that were followed in the story. I appreciated the multiple povs and how each character had a distinct voice. This book had a lot of twisted and turns which helped it to be an interesting read, but unfortunately it just wasnβt a favorite for me.

First Down by Grace Reilly

This was a pretty good romance book. I appreciated the dual povs between Bex and James in this fake dating story. I liked the overall concept of this book and its complex characters, but sometimes the main characters felt quite young and the story felt rushed at times. This book had some good moments, but I didnβt love it.
