I absolutely loved this one! This book had me laughing and smiling from start to finish and was an excellent feel-good read. Work In Progress combines some of my favorite tropes as we follow Alice on a bookish bus tour across the UK.  This was an amazing debut novel and I can’t wait to read more books by this author in the future.

This was an enjoyable young adult fantasy read. I loved following Alex as she finds herself an a new world. I liked the friendships she made with Bear and Jordan and how the helped her adjust to living in Medora. I really liked the overall storyline of this book and the author did a great job with the world building. There were a couple times where the book felt unnecessarily long, but I found myself engaged anyways. I look forward to reading more books in the Medoran Chronicles series.

This was such a cute, feel-good read that left me smiling and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series when it comes out.

This was a collection of very well written and vulnerable poetry. The poems were captivating and honest and although poetry isn’t a genre I typically read, I found myself invested in the author’s story. Overall this was an excellent, poetic memoir.

This was an enjoyable mystery/thriller. I liked the overall mystery of this book and how the main character, Alex, was trying to discover the truth behind what happened at Coram House back in the 1960s. I appreciated the mixed media elements we got with the transcripts every here and there as it helped tell the story. This was an intriguing and atmospheric slow burn thriller and had some great twists. Definitely one to look out for when it comes out in April.
