This was such a good book and I honestly just loved every minute of it. It had all of my favorite things found family, baked goods, and a slow burn romance.

I was aching for more fat Black romance and whew Chile did D.Rose deliver. It was sweet and hot and I love how much Ace adores Channel. Although, I really wanted to punch Chanel's ex is the mouth. All in all, a perfect short romance. I highly recommend it.

I have become a fan of erotic monster stories and a lover of the tv show 'Sleepy Hollow'. And I was wondering what a threesome between Ichabod, Katrina, and the Horseman would look like. And whew it was so hot but also scary. The work has a dreamy tone to it that just works with the theme of Sleepy Hollow (the original book).

It was funny and scary but yeah the racism in it took most of the fun out of this book.

Honestly I loved it. This book had all of my favorite tropes and it was nice to see it done from an Asian perspective.  Daniel and Tobin so cute together and the whole family drama made me anxious but the ending totally made it worth it!

I love this book. I am a sucker for Greek mythology and when I realized that both Hades and Persephone were Black. I was hooked.

The book lived up the promise of the blurb and more.
It was more than the hot sex (and it was really hot) but it was the talk about boundaries with family, about self-care, and love. I also love how this is the first time I have seen a retelling where Persephone is not a victim or a trophy but an equal partner to Hades.

Also I want to shout out the trans rep. That was everything to me. I will recommend this book forever.

God, this book was everything. I hadn't read M/F in a minute and this is the perfect book to sink my teeth in.

This book was funny, heartfelt, and sexy. A perfect romance novel and full of Trinidad in jokes that as a great insight to the culture. The island was absolutely another character to this book and it was absolutely a love letter to Trinidad.
