I found Delaney by reading the Sea Monster's mate and this book is just as good. I really love Ramsey and Till and they surprisingly have a sweet romance (and of course the sex was hot). I totally recommend for someone who wants sweet monster romance!
I fell in love with Magen's work when I read their sapphic Medusa romance but this short work was just as hot and excellent. If you are lover of Teen Wolf, this book is right up your alley.
I am writing a femdom romance but I had no idea where to start. This book was essential part of my BDSM research and the straight offen blunt style of this book is like getting advice from an older sibling. I highly recommend it.
I recommend this book to anyone who loves Black romance but also to allies of Black authors and readers. I think my favorite essay was from Beverly Jenkins but I loved how this book touched on authors and experiences across the Black diaspora, sexual, and gender orientations. This book really renewed my faith in my own work as a Black romance author.
I am avid monster romance reader and writer. And Freydis is a friend but thèla's work has been on my radar for a while and I just got a chance to sit and read it. This is excellent. The writing style is surreal and almost fairytale like and I love how unapologetic Latinx and trans it is. Also the sex is hot af and the Angel Ariel is a throwback to OG biblical angels in the best way. I will recommend this for people who loved Cemetary Boys by Aiden Thomas but was thirsty for something a little more adult.
This book was the perfect balance of fat affirming fitness and romance together. The slow burn nearly killed me but my God it was so worth it. Britta and Wes are so good together and the chemistry was off the chain! I will absolutely be recommending this to all of my friends.
This book was so unbelievably gay. I know Fanu was probably wrote it this way as anti-homosexuality morality play but honestly if it wasn't for the last 30 minutes of the book, it very well came off as a romance. But atlas, the ending is tragic but comparing this to Bramstroker's Dracula, I have to say it's better.
I went into this book thinking that it was going to be a typical Black erotica but no it was Rollercoaster ride that an old school telenovela could be proud of. And Jadya and Midori's relationships with each other and with other people is so damn toxic. But the sex was hot, I'm not going to lie.
