THE NIGHT THIEF a gripping crime thriller full of stunning twists by Joy Ellis
3.0
was a good slow burn thriller. i felt like i was alongside the police. i am very confused about the random case mentioned in the middle. giles bannon? and why was there such a big focus on freddy (laura’s patient)?? am i confused because i haven’t read the books in order? otherwise it has been a good read

my favourite book ever. so funny. so good to read. great and unusual concept. very original. i like the short chapters. kept me guessing until the last second. i thought i knew who it was 4 times before it was finally revealed. i love mystery and i love old people. amazing book.

such a great story to get me back into CoHo reading. made me cry. it was annoying that there was no mention of what state it is set in. however it was sort of cliche

i didn’t like the format at first but once i got use to it i could not put the book down. it was an addictive read. it didn’t really appeal to me but it won me over so good. it made me cry, was amazingly written and so unique. was easy to immerse myself into this book

the start was slow and boring but as the story got to the 3/4 mark, i became engrossed and loved the way things turned out. The comment about all the crew men watching underage girls in the shower was disgusting and i feel like it should have been left out or followed up
The Fourth Friend by Joy Ellis

the most confusing first chapter ever. but i think it’s a very cool and interesting concept of fulfilling the dead friends wishes. the ending also confused me

i liked that this one was more personal. i felt like each character was detailed better than previous books. makes me understand them more. not sure how i feel about the ending being unresolved tho
