4.5 stars. i love the characters so much. i am obsessed with them. i think this book was so cleverly written and so comedic but in a way that was not stupid. lost half a star because it’s not as good as the first one. but it was a great story. can’t wait for the 3rd book

good story for modern times. very emotional, makes me feel for all the characters. great imagery and the flashbacks were so detailed and easy to envision. unique storyline. i wish there was more to the ending. or even a greater foreshadowing of hope for his relationship with his mum

the start was rushed. took ages to get into. author very good at eliciting emotion and making me angry and shocked. it was very thrilling at the end and it saved itself from being a bad book

i didn’t really like the aesthetic. i wish there was more about the trial and the murder as i thought that was the more interesting part. i didn’t guess it at all though and liked how i had to wait until the very last page to find out what happened

plotless, weirdly written, so much unnecessary rambling that didn’t have much significance. not much got followed up. did not like the characters, the aesthetic or the pedestalling of doctors

very good, very sad, had me desperate for a conclusion. a very interesting perspective on post-natal depression and very heartbreaking to read. wish there was more of an ending and some parts were cringe but it was great. v sad. i can’t have a baby anytime soon
