Strange. There were things I liked but i didn’t love this book. It enraged me how these husbands treated their wives & when a book makes you feel emotions so strongly you know it’s doing a good job. I wish the vampire killed all the husbands though lol. And this book does a good job of showing how quickly you can be alienated in a tight knit community. Patricia spoke her mind and was cast out so fast, drugged ip by her husband. Wild. An interesting book altogether though.

I liked this, i listened to it on audio and there were parts that were so painfully annoying i almost stopped reading the book. I don’t know if it was the narrator or just the main character in general, but i don’t feel there was much character development for our main character. it seems like he found everything so easily and it matched his skill set easily. some parts were very cool but i didn’t love it enough to read Ready Player Two.
