Despite the fact that all modern science fiction owes a lot to Asimov, the Foundation trilogy did not age well.
No women, technology is vague and distant at best, and in general everything seems hastily put together, definitely not well thought out and planned.
Considering that in 10 years we'd get Star Trek, this seems much closer to Verne's late XIX century proto-SciFi than to Roddenberry's modern fictional universe, with a Russian at the helm and an Afro-American woman on the bridge.

Bello, ma non bisogna aspettarsi nulla di nuovo. Almeno non ci sono i soliti personaggi del Bar Lume, ma la meccanica della narrazione è la stessa. La figura dell'uomo di scienza che di riffa o di raffa è sempre il protagonista e che risolve sempre gli omicidi comincia ad essere un po' stancante, per uno che ha già letto Malvaldi.
Passatempo piacevole, come un nuovo disco degli AC/DC: it does what it says on the tin, nothing else.
