A great book, but didn't stay with me in a way that is significant. The pacing was odd, the first 150 pages and the last 200 pages flew by and I ate it up but the story was entirely too long and fluffy in the middle. Yes, there was important information but it wasn't gripping the way the rest of the story was. I do plan on continuing the series, as I am invested in both Kvothe and Bast's stories.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.
The timeline is all over the place, with too many people/POVs. At 106 pages in I still wasn't pulled into the story, and felt myself having to reread paragraphs or pages because my eyes are glazing over the words.

This book kept me *just* engaged enough to want to know how it ends, it was mostly predictable, yet satisfying. It became a PBS historical drama, and can see why, but it would struggling to keep up with what most readers are looking for today.

I love how interconnected the characters of the story were, it goes to show that the world is smaller than we think and we are all connected in strange ways. I loved the cats of this coffee shop, they were so sassy and funny, but also wise and full of advice. My biggest gripe, and the reason for only 4 Stars, is wish there was more astrology because the author made reading a natal chart so easy to understand.

Being a '97 baby means I grew up watching my parents play this game, then played this game and almost every other Zelda since. I was nerVous when got this manga boxed set gifted to me, but you can tell the author and their partner were very serious about this project and that it meant a lot to them. liked seeing Link's adventure being told as a story vs a series of tasks, and the artwork?! Each page felt like looking at a luxury poster. Well

A bit too predictable at times, yet too many twists and turns to follow occasionally, but definitely Netflix drama worthy! Keeps you reading and thinking about it when not, definitely my kind of book.

Found the characters annoying, and the story inconsistent with details.
