Inspiring and really tunged at the heart  strings. This is differently a read for girls to give them ideas to move forward. Wish there was a boys version too.

Just WOW. I look at interment camps in Australian history. Yes I knew about them but this story is just brilliant. It really looks into this part of Australian history that is not that widely know (unless you like visiting historical place like  I like to visit Trail Bay Goal in NSW). The truth this didn't just happen in WW1 but WW2 with Japanese Australians too. Back to the  book Pamela style really sinks you in with easy prose that you can see yourself in the conditions and the places that the character are. The characters are well developed and all unique with their own flaws and issues they must face. I will like to read more of from this author.

Best yet from this author. It got me from the opening line and held me till the end word. Action plus, vampires dystopian/cyber punk and mental health which was done realistic. The characters were wonderfully developed and really popped off the page or in this case felt dolid from the audio. Narrator was brilliant too.

Maybe in verse but only gave small highlights of Eva's life and large jumps means you did not or could emerge into the story. Read more like a picture story book that lost its way.

Beautiful look at the history of the myth of vampires or vampire like creatures through time and culture as discussed by an ancient version of this. It goes up to modern takes on vampire too. The illustration are haunting dark and beautiful. It was fun to learn information I did not know before and the stuff I did more context was learnt about time place where these ideas came from.

First half was interesting but slow. Once the book reached halfway the action really started to accelerate the book forward and page turning or the inability to press the pause button. Lovely discriptive writing. Overall I did enjoy it and a book the can bridge scfi/fantasy with historical/contemporary reads.

Beautiful art work easy reading but gets quiet dark before the end. A good look about the issues that come from terrorist groups especially for young girls.
