I received an ARC copy of Fae Cursed in return for my honest opinion.
WOW! I stayed up way too late finishing this book last night- but I couldn't put it down. From the beginning the pace was wonderful and I was never bored as the story was slowly revealed as we found out there were more and more secrets to discover. I adore magic worlds and Dylan Chick has created a wonderful, unique take on fae and I can't wait for the next book!
Ara struggles to stay away from the mysterious Rose Circus that threatens to pull her back into the life she has worked so hard to leave behind. When circumstances lead her to commit to traveling with the circus for a year she never expected her life to be at risk. Now she must stay alive and discover the secrets of the Rose Circus while fighting her attraction to the mysterious Ringleader.

I received a free copy of this book with no obligation to post a review.
In By the Fates, Fought, we continue the story of Raven, Ealasaid, and the rest of their group who have become family. Though it seems that Ealasaid is finally free, and she relishes her time with Raven and her new family, danger starts creeping back in and they soon don't know whom to trust as they begin to learn more about what the devils' plans are for Ealasaid. The book is fast-paced and suspenseful, with danger all around.
I liked that the book was written from even more points of view than Raven and Ealasaid. It let us learn some of the characters even better. I think my biggest dislike was how easy is always is for the devils to get a drop on our main characters, and how easily they seem to get captured, but it adds to the urgency and suspense of the story.
This story, like the first in the series, is quite dark and there are scenes of torture.
The book ends on a cliffhanger and I have already started the next book to see what happens!

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I am in love with this world! We last left Ara as she was running from both the Rose Circus and Terra. In Dark Fae, she continues to learn more about herself and the war she has found herself in, and soon comes to realize she will have to pick a side sooner rather than later. There is more magic and action in this book, the pace starts off a tad bit slow but then takes off and doesn't slow down. I think my only complaint is that the end fight seemed a little abrupt, but I did like the ending! I am hoping for more books in this series for sure!

Magic Rising again starts with action right off the bat, picking up where the last book left off. The dragon queen is now the threat as they must figure out a way to stop her from taking over the world. They learn that the queen must kill or gain the fealty of all the dragon mages who were used in her awakening ceremony and immediately have to go on the offensive against her as the dragon mages start getting attacked.

I love the world that has been created for these books, and I am a sucker for magical, kick-butt heroines- these books are amazing! There was a little bit in the way of romance, I can't help but hope that the next book will explore Morgan and James' relationship more! The characters are all endearing and well-developed and there are no boring spots in the book! I am excited for book 4!

Cassia's wedding day gets ruined by a monster, but luckily there are sexy fae princes nearby to help her.
Cassia doesn't want to get married, but has an arranged marriage planned for her by her social-climbing father. The day of the wedding goes awry when a monster who is clearly after Cassia shows up. After miraculously healing from being wounded in the attack, Cassia finds out she is actually a fae who was hidden on earth at birth. After getting away from her father with the monster hunting princes who helped save her she is transported to another world, but the attacks keep coming. Traveling with the princes, they seek to stop the infestation of monsters before it gets worse. Confused with a new land and new powers, Cassia is also growing close to all three of the princes helping her, and soon she can't imagine life without any of them!

As always, Dyan Chick's books are well paced and I loved the world she invented. Four different courts of fae with different gifts in each court is a fun take on the fae world. It kept me up late reading, and I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next!
