I loved seeing more of the original characters from the first book! I missed them! Their varying relationships with Murderbot are so entertaining.

This was so sweet, I loved it. The plot was a little predictable, but I thought the romance and the political intrigue was very well balanced.

This one stretched out a bit, I think more because I took a couple months break when I had to return the audiobook. Some of Rand’s decisions made me a bit mad, but that’s kind of the way it goes; I liked the way it complicated the storyline. I also liked the added storylines of some of the characters that up until this book have been rather minor characters, like
Siuan and Morgase.
I feel like Mat’s character is really starting to develop too, which I love.
I missed Perrin though! I’m hoping with Faile’s dad showing up to help Rand we’ll get back to them in the next book, I love them so much.

This was alright. I feel like not a lot happened? Or maybe it just felt that way because everything just sort of happened to the FMC and it was as if she was just along for the ride. I mostly read this because the second book in this series (although technically it’s a prequel), The Hero and the Crown, is one of my favorite author’s favorite books and I was curious. This wasn’t bad, but I’m hoping the next is better character-wise.

It was cheesy, but fun I suppose. It was a very quick read and I felt that it suffered a lot for that.

This was very fun. I found it on some list of books, I can’t even remember where or what kind of books the list was, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. It’s not the kind of book I normally read and there were definitely some very spicy parts which I don’t care for, but I had such a good time. It was a great mix of romance and fantasy.

I didn’t like this one as much as the other two, but I’m still really liking the series.

Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.
Just not feeling, might pick it up again some other time. Felt too much like The Witcher, which is originally why I was interested in it, but I'm thinking maybe that's why it's not working right now.

I chose this book because it was a little outside my usual taste in books and I was curious (I heard great things about it). I liked it, but ultimately it felt too undecided in genre. Like it was a historical fiction romance but then were was this element of fantasy that felt like it was trying to be gothic horror and I don’t think it all worked. Also, I very much wanted to know about the origins of the vampires and I know that wasn’t the point of this type of story, but maybe that just further serves the idea that this book wasn’t for me anyway.

I loved this! I liked the further exploration of their relationship and the Folk. I’m very excited to see how this trilogy ends.
