Oh my. I LOVED this book. I don’t know why, rightly or wrongly I didn’t expect much when I picked this one up. Boy was I wrong.

The concept was fabulous and the characters were so well developed! The book explores lots of different characters and their relationships and perspectives. It explores family and love and friendship. I felt a real attachment to them all and found the ending very moving!

It is told from multiple points of view that not once got confusing! The writing style was easy and a good pace for me.

I would recommend this book

This book was a magical and imaginative read!

It was easy to follow and very innocent. I loved the ‘never ignore a possible’ message, encouraging to follow your dreams.

I would recommend for a lovely quick easy read!

This is the second book in the series and I loved it even more than the first one.

Now that we know Angela better and her friends/boyfriends/editor/mum etc. I feel a much better connection and interest in the storyline.

When you feel invested you know it’s good writing.

It is so fun and easy going to read, like a breath of fresh air.

Would recommend if you typically enjoy this genre!

This isn’t the best Agatha I’ve read. I was initially gripped by the story but it seemed to lose me about half way through and then it unfolded a little too quickly for me.

Still a good book just not as great as some others I’ve read of hers!

I really enjoyed this story! I was interested and invested from the very beginning!

I loved how fast paced it was and the writing style.
The flipping between different parallel story lines was done in a really good way!

I would recommend this book if this is your genre!

I read this book when it first came out and I was much younger!

I picked it up for a re-read before starting Postscript and I am so glad I did!

It is so much better than I remember it. So detailed, so beautiful, so heart wrenching and heart warming!

A wonderful story! I would definitely recommend!

This is the first book I’ve read by Matt Dunn and I was not disappointed.

The story only spans over a couple of days, but it didn’t feel like it was going to slowly at all. All the way through I was gripped by the detail and what was going to happen.

I loved this story and how realistic and raw it is. The language, pace and delivery were just right for me.

I would recommend this book and I am 100% on the hunt for more books by Matt.

This book was gripping from the very beginning. The way the story flipped between then and now to re-tell the story and unravel all the threads was done really well. I DID NOT SEE THAT TWIST.

Honestly, I couldn’t have predicted it. I would recommend this book if you like a fast paced gripping story line which keeps you guessing right until the end. Revealing little snippets of information the whole way through meant it didn’t get boring or feel like it unravelled too quickly, which sometimes I feel when reading this genre!

I rated this book 4 out of 5 stars. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is that at times, bits of the story felt a little unrealistic/unbelievable but I don’t want to write about them here for fear of ruining the story.

This book is better than I ever imagined! It is difficult to put into words how beautiful, devastating, heartwarming, clever and charming this sequel is.

I think this is one of my all time favourite books and I want everyone to read it! I would recommend 1000 times over just be prepared to ugly cry.

This is not your conventional crime novel and I felt putting it in that genre would be a miss justice.

The book had a very interesting premise and was thought provoking. It really made you think what it would be like to live with dementia and at times you really did feel sorry for Maude.

However, moving past the above point, I didn't feel there was much else in the book to keep me 'hooked'. It was pretty obvious, to me at least, what the outcome of the book was. At times, it was incredibly repetitive.

I felt there could have been some improvements, for example I would have loved to have seen some different perspectives. How does Helen see Maude and the situation? That would have really added another element.

It is for the above reasons that I scored a 3 out of 5.
