For as big of a FOB fan that I've been, I was shocked to come across this book sitting among the other musical/film memoirs on the display table at B&N. And thanks for that, because I snatched it up without a second thought. I'm not great with non-fiction, but musical related memoirs are definitely my jam. Pun intended.
I really enjoyed Joe's memoir, despite the many chapters spent touching on dark, troubling topics. I'm all for dark, troubling topics because they're real. I like to be reminded my idols are human. Casually and comically written, Joe is relatable and has made this an easy must-read for fans of the band or music in general. Yes, apparently Joe and I are now on a first name basis. 😅

Sweet little middle grade novel told from the POV of 2 sibling Orcas. Educational, tense, sad, and yet hopeful. I was reading this with my son (7) but he lost interest so I finished on my own.
