Wish I had read more on the trigger warnings before diving into this. Planning to read the second one in the series because the last 25% of the book felt like it shifted from the beginning. Was recommended by someone on the fourth book so I’m hoping this is like ACOTAR where getting through the first is a canon event.

If this hadn’t been recommended don’t think I would have read through it all. Ok maybbbeee I would have but my expectations would have been lower. The premise and plot as a retelling of the grinch is fine, little deviation. The narrator popping up as a third character was a decision.

Honestly Atlas and Cole were why I stuck with it. Why weren’t they together?

Beautifully complicated - enjoyed as much as the first but with an added layer of political complexity.

Picked this book up for a little light reading before bed and found myself hungry for more at 1am. Looking forward to how Rune faces the challenges ahead

Did not finish book. Stopped at 38%.
This book has a guide sort of template setup ~ I read what I needed for the work I’ve done. Will return for the rest and reread when I need it for turning thesis towards full manuscript development
