I loved Ravena’s character development. I loved reading her struggles with who she is and how she fits in this world. The supporting characters are also easy to fall in love with. The pacing overall was good and didn’t feel rushed. This ends on a cliffhanger and I can’t wait for the next one!

So I have to admit that l chose to read this book based on the cover alone. I
honestly thought the story would be something else. This is definitely a dark romance and has some unsavory themes. Despite not knowing what I was getting into, I liked it. I liked the depth to Crewe and liked his character development.

I've loved Emelin's and Creon's stories. The way they have both grown individually and together is phenomenal. The final battle was epic and I love how everyone came together. This has been one of my top series this year.

Naxi has been one of my favorite characters in the Fae Isles series. You hear about this epic battle between Anaxia and Thysandra and I am so glad to finally read it.
This was definitely not what I expected, in the BEST of ways.

I ADORE Anaxia's and Thysandra's story so much. These characters are UNDERRATED in the main series. Naxi is hilarious and witty and Thys gets everything she deserves. There's a part that Lisette almost had me. I was so shocked about the revelation and couldn't believe my favorite character could do such a horrible thing. If you enjoyed the Fae Isles, this is a MUST READ!

This took me a bit to get into but I ended up liking it overall. The pace was slow in areas and the plot a bit predictable. Overall, if dragoning could happen, I could see a lot of women choosing to transition. Truth is the same issues still exist today.
