An amazing book by an amazing author. Really sad to see/read about how our modern society makes so many of us sick. I had never thought about depression as a collective problem before. I do recommend it strongly, but not if what you're looking for is a self-help book.

The Inexplicable Logic of My Life by Benjamin Alire Sáenz

I suppose the book itself isn't bad, it just didn't fit my life right now at all. Perhaps what I missed the most in this book was a proper plot - the book just went on and on without any clear direction.

Persuasion by Jane Austen

Jane Austen is obviously an amazing writer, but personally this book didn't speak to me that much. Perhaps it's because some of the main themes/issues, e.g. marriage and specified gender roles, is not that relevant (?) in my life. The language is beautiful though. Favourite quote:
"[...] when pain is over, the remembrance of it often becomes pleasure" (quote from main character Anne, p. 199)
