I’ve never read a thriller as anti-climatic as this one. This whole story was so interesting and I found myself filled with the want to know how this story wraps up just for the story to end like that. Yeah disappointed doesn’t even sum up this feeling.

It’s 5am when I’m writing this and I don’t even have the words to describe what I’m feeling. I’m currently a mess sitting on my bed with tears running down my face. I did not expect to love this book as much as I did. From the beginning I knew Renee Ahdieh had me. Everything about this book was heartbreaking almost because I knew this book wouldn’t have a happy ending. Khalid and Shazi, they have all of me I want nothing more for them to be together at the end of this series. I might be a fool but I’m hoping for the best. Oh wow, this book is definitely going down as one of my faves.

I AM A SOBBING WRECK AFTER THIS BOOK! I’m so happy to say that Nicola Yoon has yet again impressed me with another ya contemporary. Nicola Yoon has perfected the beautiful yet heartbreaking style of ya contemporary and I’m so grateful that I get to read it. This story was absolutely perfect in every way. The plot was unexpected since I didn’t realize this book had a magical element to it, but it added it so much to the story. The main character, Evie, finally understanding that with love sometimes comes heartbreak but the experience and the journey makes it’s all worth it in the end was so stunning to read. By the end of the book I realized what the author wanted me to, that the beauty of love is you never know how it’s going end but you still dive in head first hoping that it lasts forever. Like I couldn’t help but to CRY MY EYES OUT. Nicola Yoon, I beg you, never stop writing because you have a gift if I’ve ever seen one.

Had no idea what the plot twist was until the very end and I’ll recommend everyone avoid any spoilers before reading this book because I loved having no clue what happened. MY SUMMER READING SLUMP IS OFFICIALLY OVER!!!!!

This was a cute thriller and the plot twist reveal at the end of the book made me physically gasp in shock. But I also can’t ignore the glaring issues with this book. I felt the character’s decision making was not the best. She was made out to be a person cautious while not actually taking caution. Her decision to keep riding with this awfully suspicious over and over again was very frustrating. Some of the plot twists don’t make sense to me after reading the entire book and knowing exactly what happened but maybe that’s just a me problem and not a Riley Sanger’s writing problem.

MY MIND IS BLOWN!! I just finished this book and there’s so many things my brain still can’t piece together. Alice Feeney knows exactly how to make a thriller that you won’t forget. THE ENDING WAS INSANE! Plot twist galore and I loved every second of it.

I came into fully expecting to feel meh about since it was an anthology full of short stories which I’m not really a fan of. But I guess I shouldn’t have doubted the magic of these authors that truly have a gift. I LOVED THIS BOOK!! Like loved it. Each and every short story and the romance between the characters had me hooked. Like I can’t believe how much I loved every story. UNBELIEVABLE but I should have know with how stacked this book was with their author selection. Such a cute and fast read.
