I've seen this at my local bookstores so much recently, but I've been too scared to actually purchase it to read it. Recently - while browsing at my local library - I found a copy in the new releases and snatched it up so quick, I almost hit a passerbyer in the head 🙈, and oh boy am I glad I did find it.

If I could've - I would've devoured it in a day (due to work, I wasn't able to). I loved this so much. It wasn't my usual taste (I love my smut 🤭) but this was so adorable and cute. The author Sarah did a beautiful job at the descriptions of characters, and the way she wrote. Easy to understand, but still beautifully written.

I definitely will be going out to purchase my own copy of this - and most definitely will be giving it to my mother to borrow.

This is the kind of book right up her alley 🤗

Not really spicy, besides some kissing between the FMC and another character, but still such a good read!

If I could give this a -3.5 stars, I would. I did not like the main character at all. She annoyed me, and I didn't find the fact she was such a drunk to be at all appealing. The fact it was mentioned almost every page just got on my nerves!

Nothing against the author, I'm sure the book is great - I can see from a lot of reviews people loved the book, but it was not for me.

From the moment it was announced, I knew I was always interested in reading Britney's life story - to see how she grew up, and what she went through over the past 20 years - especially over the conservativeship part. It was a beautiful read hits you in the heart. It was sad and so disappointing to read about the way her family treated her, as if she was nothing but a show horse in the running for first prize. I'm so very glad I picked this book up to read her story, and I'm so happy she's now free to live her life the way she wants and work on dealing with her trauma and demons.

I wish her the absolute best in continuing the path to find herself 🙏🏼

I knew I'd like Aldo and Gloria's story, but I didn't realise just how much. I think I love it, just as much as Luke and Harper's story.

Reading Gloria's growth through the book from her point of view was beautiful. The way she wasn't sure of herself, feeling like she was unworthy of being loved, related. Aldo's story and reading how he handled everything after what happened to him was heart breaking.

Lucy tackled the war and DV situations well and with grace. Beautifully written 👏🏼

My first ever Lucy Score and it was a win.

I loved the story line, the characters and the emotions it made me feel. I had a love/hate relationship with Luke there for majority of the series, even after finding his past, but overall the 'love'part won, especially after he woke up to himself.

Harper is one stubborn badass and I loved her character and the fact that she still has so much love to give and still see the best in people after everything that happened to her in her past.

Probably my favourite of the 3 - 2nd behind Throne of The Fallen. I do wish we got to see Pride's reunion with his wife, but no such luck. Maybe, just maybe, we'll see get Pride's story soon, since now we've had Wrath, Envy's and Sloth's (which I have yet to read). I guess only time will tell.
