The Woman in Me by Britney Spears

dark emotional inspiring reflective sad tense fast-paced

4.0

From the moment it was announced, I knew I was always interested in reading Britney's life story - to see how she grew up, and what she went through over the past 20 years - especially over the conservativeship part. It was a beautiful read hits you in the heart. It was sad and so disappointing to read about the way her family treated her, as if she was nothing but a show horse in the running for first prize. I'm so very glad I picked this book up to read her story, and I'm so happy she's now free to live her life the way she wants and work on dealing with her trauma and demons.

I wish her the absolute best in continuing the path to find herself 🙏🏼
