The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan

I don't care what anyone says, I love Apollo. He's one of my favorite gods and to see him in such a human state of being is wonderful.
I loved how Apollo goes from this overly arrogant and godly human, to understanding a little what it means to be human and to be blind by our limitations. He's still an arrogant jerkface that we all love, but he's even more human now.

I wasn't expecting the Percy Jackson story to continue, but I'm so glad it did. This one takes place with the Roman gods and goddesses, so it was cool to relearn about those aspects of the familiar aspects. Looking forward to completing this part of the series and seeing how they find Percy and get Jason back to his old camp.

The stories within were wonderful and I loved how minor details were ironed out to make the overall plot more engaging. Definitely recommend reading if you're a fan on the Percy Jackson series.

This was surprisingly a really good read. A friend had gifted me one of the later books in the series, so I of course had to start with the first.
I really didn't know what to expect when I read the summary, but I really wasn't expecting there to be a romance going on along with all the action. I felt like there were times where the romance was more played up than the action, but I'm also a fan of action novels and series. This will be an interesting read to say the least.
I am excited to find out what happens next and how Celaena enjoys her new life and way of living, especially when there's a spicy relationship to be had...

I honestly don't know how to rate this book. I mainly borrowed it from my local library to practice my German comprehension, but I couldn't make it through without having to take many breaks. I think it's because I'm not really that big of a fan of basketball, or maybe it was because it was in German, but this book just didn't stick to my ribs.
