Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas

Holy sheet, I wasn't really expecting the events of the series to take such a turn so early on in it. I had a feeling I knew where the story was going, but I honestly wasn't expecting that ending. Makes me want to read the next book even more to see how everything pans out.
The Dark Prophecy by Rick Riordan

I really loved this book. Having the book only be from Lester/Apollo's point of view is a refreshing change from the constant shifting with the other Olympian books. Having the story focus in and around Indianapolis was great because as someone from the area, I could imagine the entire setting and felt a sense of pride when some landmarks were mentioned.
I really stink at doing reviews, but I would recommend this to anyone that's read the other Olympian books and have a love for Apollo as much as I do.

The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan

Ahh, such a good book. I'm really glad I'm finally caught up with the Greek and Roman books of Riordan's, but this latest installment left me reaching for my handkerchief. There were several parts where I was crying a bit and sniffling. I could feel the pain and suffering if some of the characters, and I could also feel their relief and happiness. The writing of the book itself was great and it was yet another book I found hard to put down. Can't wait for the next installment this autumn.
Percy Jackson's Greek Gods by Rick Riordan

This was a great companion for the Percy Jackson series. I loved the voice and time Riordan used while talking about the different gods and goddesses. Made the stories more fun and enjoyable, while also keeping to the similar stories as the originals. There were a few things I had forgotten about some of the gods, so it was nice to read about them and learn new things.
