It finally happened... I finally read an SJ Tilly book that I didn't mesh with :( I was willing to look past Latte Darling's... interesting title because it had tropes I really liked, and I LOVED that book (yes I know I read them backwards). This one.... I couldn't get with the title OR the story.

Also them fornicating in a tent when there is a whole field trip of children nearby is kinda.... icky.

Bro I was so done lol. But I did finish the series. Technically there’s a fourth book but it’s a novella including their wedding but I do not care.

In hindsight, the rating I gave this book was too MF high but I won't change it.

However, IDK that I’ve EVER gaspsed as much with a book as I did with this one. It was very scandalous.

The fact that Kandy's dad is quite literally fighting for his life while his bestie is fingerbanging his daughter is crazyyyyyyy.

This book featured the well-known phenomenon I like to call the Second Book Breakup, where the couple is broken up for the majority of the second book of a romance series. If you need more examples of this phenomenon, please don’t hesitate to ask.

The fact that the school kicked her out because her Nice Guy of an ex-"Friend" took pictures of her kissing an older dude is wackodoodle.

I low-key don’t want to read the next book because I swear to God if there’s any more will-they-won’t-they, I’ll riot. I’m TIRED.

This book was super good but I’m docking a star for the MMC - Cole - admitting he was into the FMC - Fallon - since before she was 16. That’s pretty gross, but I kept reading because Fallon’s POV was fun. I feel like a whole lot of nothing happened in this but I know, logically things did happen as I picked it up and read it straight through. I can tell you the smut was off the mf charts for sure.

It felt like I was 14 years old again reading a story on Wattpad but I mean it was entertaining enough that I ended up finishing it and I can't say the same for all of the books I attempt to read so.

The title reveals the entirety of the book and while it was a cute read, it wasn’t gripping or smutty or exciting. It gave Disney Channel meets Hallmark but with one sex scene. It was a fun read for sure, don’t get me wrong. Easy to read, kept me entertained, but not life changing.

Babe, who in their right mind accidentally murders someone and writes about it in their journal that they carry on their person 24/7?

I simply couldn't finish this series, even with the promise of Daddy Kink. :(

These boys were gay from page 1 but okay. Like the "gay one" is like "idk i need to have sex with a guy to decide if i'm actually gay" and the "straight one" is just like “bro… what are bros for? I can help you with that.” but they just KEEP f*cking.
