This book was a quick and entertaining read. While there was one particular instance where I felt the Daddy Kink bordered on age play/incest kink, the rest of the smut was off the charts! While the Christmas element is definitely there, it’s not so In Your Face that is difficult to read this off season.

I adored this author's writing style. For me, it was a bit slow to get into, but once it took off, I was very intrigued. The cliffhanger left me wanting and I'm very, very interested in seeing how Callie takes Hayden's truths - not just about the pearls but also about her father.

While this one was a lot easier for me to get into and to read - I read it in just under 4 hours including putting it down a few times to eat or do something - it fell flat in a lot of other ways. I appreciate the author picking up RIGHT where the first book left off, but after that, it just seemed circular. Callie said she needed time to forgive Hayden, Hayden refused to give her time and continued to be overbearing, Callie eventually relented, Hayden did something to piss Callie off, Callie asks for time/space, Hayden is overbearing....... I think that overall, the book wasn't believable and felt very rushed.

I was willing to give this one 3 stars until the proposal at the end…

Lowkey wish I wasn’t ending the year on this book, but alas…

The only unpredictable part of this book was how godawful the loss-of-virginity scene was and that's solely because I didn't think it was possible to make a FMC seem that infantile.

I wanted to love this one like i loved the other two, but by 60% the book felt like it was dragging on and would never end.

I am a SUCKER for a big scary mafia man entering an arranged marriage with a girl only to find out her caretakers have been abusing her & saving her from that situation and lemme tell you this book DELIVERED. Granted it was a forced marriage more than an arranged one. Towards the end, it got a bit too cheesy for my liking, but all in all, it was very enjoyable and quite difficult to put down.

This was a fun read. I can't lie, I did want to see Mia domming Garrett again in the epilogue, but it was still a cute, spicy and enjoyable time.
