It was 5/5 until the MMC went down on FMC while she was on her period and then kissed the FMC while his "mouth and chin" were covered in blood.

I wish I hadn’t.

I might've been able to justify a 3/5 but then she started singing karaoke.

The banter in this book was off the charts. The author really knows how to make a likeable morally..... dark dark grey character. Also the scenes with Silvan's family were hilarious.

5/5 for a good majority of the book but the cheesiness eventually got to be too much for me. Still an entertaining read, however.

2.5, rounded up. I tried to read this book 3x before i got through it, mainly because the first few chapters in Tor’s pov made him seem so goddamn unlikable. I am gonna try to read the sequel though because we barely scratched the surface with the daddy kink in this one and that’s basically the only reason I pushed through. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Updated 12/5/23 - i DNF’d book 2 at 30%. At this point, I'm literally begging authors to learn the difference between daddy kink and literally wanting to fuck your father.

At first, I thought this was going to be an alright book. It was different than other vampire books I’d read. But every 5 pages the FMC was learning more and more about her supposed past and it just became repetitive and too much life an info-dump. By about 60% I was tired. The smut was HOT AS FUCK THO ILL GIVE JADE THAT ONE.

It was a book & I did in fact read it. That's what I can say for sure.

Almost 500 pages... unsure why.
