It was a book & I read it. That's basically all I can say.

This book skipped all 200 books on my TBR based on ONE TikTok blurb. Worth it. Huge fan of the sex club's devirginizing program, I gotta say. I do hate that we never got a redemption arc of sorts for her father, where he started respecting her more but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A correction to my review of Kill Switch: there was a timeline posted on Penelope’s website the whole time and I am stupid. I found this one much better than I thought it would be, mainly because I only really ever felt anything for Will when he was in scenes with Damon so I wasn’t sure how an entire book with Will would go. However the best way to make me focus on Will was to remove all of the others, apparently. I did like this one and it was very hard to put down, however it felt too long for no reason and the back and forth between Will and Emory got to be a bit much towards the end. I did love the epilogue and meeting all the kids though and Im happy everyone’s happy.

I loved revisiting Michael & Rika’s relationship, even under these conditions lol. I also adored the insight into Rika & Damon’s relationship and how quickly Damon takes Rika under his wing. I will say these mfers love a good threesome, don’t they?

Huge fan of Rika and she's much smarter than me tbh. I personally would've slept with Kai when Michael was on his BS, or at least have tried to - I think Kai was too loyal to actually let her but... I did wanna hit Michael a sold 60% of the book tbh, but yeah huge fan of Rika.

At first, I was worried there'd be too many Taylor references. Not that I don't love Taylor, but... I didn't find them too overwheming though and I really liked Lake and Ford. Some communication would've been amazing though and I wish Ford would've let Lake call him daddy in bed lol. The smut was still hot asf.

All in all incredible smut. I wish there’d been more psychological focus on Izzy’s forced relapse. I liked this one better than the other two I’ve read by this author. I will say they f*ck on like, page 45 so that was fun.

It low-key gave off Selection vibes but wasn’t quite as good. I don’t care about these people as much as I did the characters in the Selection series. I spoiled myself while trying to find out which couple was endgame and decided not to complete the series. Ironically, I first read this book in high school & quit the series for the same reason, I just didn't remember it until I spoiled myself again lol.

#1, i can promise you the girl's pussy did not taste like red wine, honeysuckle or the night sky, but god was it brought up no less than 4x.

#2, her boyfriend & his stepsister disappear into the woods, she follows them minutes later and happens upon a couple fucking. she decides this is a fantastic time to masturbate and then is shocked that the couple is her boyfriend & his stepsister.

#3, boyfriend's dad says boyfriend would've most definitely taken FMC's virginity too roughly and not cherished the "gift" she was giving him, and then proceeds to bend her over and take it in the woods.

Smut was good as fuck and the author was INCREDIBLE at writing sexual tension. Had me panting at times, I swear.
