The Lake House by James Patterson
2.0
I didn't really care for this book at all. It took me awhile to finish reading it because of the different characters and trying to figure out the story plot, which is the reason why I gave it two stars. I do not recommend this book to any James Patterson fan; however if your into kids with wings, evil doctors, and Washington D.C. than this might be the book for you.
At First Sight by Nicholas Sparks

This book really wasn't that bad considering some of the reviews I have previously read. It's the sequel to True Believer, which continues on various aspects of Lexie and Jeremy's relationships. The only reason why I gave it three stars is because certain parts were slow or boring to me. Yes there were certain stereotypes in this book; such as North Carolina men wear plaid shirts, which we should all know thats not always the case. I recommend this book to Nicholas Sparks fans even though there isn't an happy ending. Which some people don't like Nicholas Sparks because of it, but not everything is always going to be rainbows and butterflies. So at least he is being realistic to a certain degree in his books. If you are looking for happy endings than I recommend, The Choice, A Bend in the Road, The Last Song, and The Lucky One.
The Quickie by James Patterson, Michael Ledwidge

The book had me hooked from the very beginning. Plus I enjoyed the twisted plots throughout the book and how it kept me guessing the whole time. I recommend this book to thriller fans or James Patterson fans.
The Last Summer (of You & Me) by Ann Brashares
3.0
I have to admit I was going to quit reading this book after the first chapter; however something told me to give it a chance. I didn't like how it started out because it was difficult to follow until around the third chapter. The characters were very likable despite their differences. It's a very heartfelt story about love, friendship, success and hurt.
