What an awesome short story! I kept wanting to know what the heck was going to happen! It was dark with a great ending! Even with it being a short story, I really liked Fred! Review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/06/23/review-unidentified-fatherly-object/

When there are multiple stories by different writers it is super hard to rate because some I loved more than others. I really enjoyed Braun's story, but I have read another book of hers that I loved as well, so her writing just calls out to me. Another one that stood out to me was Demmer's story! I love pretty much anything to do with monsters, so I was ready to read this. It was a fun and awesome ride! I did a reread of this since I've been reading a few short stories lately in between books, and it's just so well done for a short story!

This was actually a decent novella for how short it was. I normally don't like most ghost type stuff, but the way everything connected was pretty cool. The ending was unexpected too!

This is the third short story from Demmer that I have read, and it's just what I need in between reading longer novels. The creepiness was on point, and the ending was awesome!!! Review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/07/05/review-independence-denied/

First off, I was glad this was a stand alone because those seem hard to find these days in a fantasy. Next, the prose was beautiful and had me from the get go. The book is told in multiple point of view from several characters, and I liked them all. The brothers were probably my favorite! I did manage to draw some tears in this book. Before I forget to mention the world building in this was one of the best I have read! Review on my blog https://literarydust.wordpress.com/2017/07/17/review-vault-of-dreams/
Zero Repeat Forever by G.S. Prendergast

I really liked this one! I will warn you that the pace is a rather slow pace, and the book may not be for everyone because I am sure there will be complaints about some of the subjects within... BUT I don't care because it was so good. Eighth did get pretty emo at times, but I probably would too in his situation. The bond between Eighth and Raven wasn't always flowers and roses either which felt more real to me.

The one thing out of everything that I was like noooooooo was this line... "That's a lot of chocolate and marshmallows. Diabetes might be another way to die." Only because sugar does not give you diabetes!

There is a cliffhanger though, and I need book two to knowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Ozmander was different than the normal YA fantasy books I read, and I loved that!

"They were puppet masters. Shaping the Woven Worlds as they saw fit."

I was absolutely all about the dragon stuff. If there was dragon milk in real life, I would be all over that in a nano second! There was an even that unfolded that took me very much by surprise. Plenty of action, and the lead character, Ros, was awesome!!

Wow! I really liked this book! I read YA contemporary books sometimes, and most of the time I get let down. But this one was different! I thought the characters felt real and felt their age which is imoportant to me. The relationship between Colton and Alex was cute! And I mean C-U-T-E! I thought the whole Mexico setting was awesome, and you could really feel the diversity in this book. Also the mafia type stuff had my eyes glued to the pages! Also the fact that Alex couldn't hear, yet was a dj was amazing!!

I was pretty excited when I saw Amy was having a spin-off series for Hidden Deep. This book was just as addicting as the others. Nicolo, swoon! That ending! Can't wait for the next book.
