Hot Summer's Prey: a Spicy Under the Sea Monster Romance by Latrexa Nova, Latrexa Nova
4.0
So much fun!
Picari is such a sweetheart. There is a scene where they are underwater in front of a mirror, and it is just so perfect and lovely. To find someone who loves every bit of you! It was a really sweet story between the MCs. I like the body positivity and sex-worker positivity in this one.
Teresa is just so sunshine and sweet, but a lot a bit of sass. I really liked her friend group and can't wait to see more of them in future books; maybe we can learn more about the deep sea witch and what her deal is, too. It had so many moments that were so soft and sweet but also funny and silly and exciting! Definitely a fun read
I'm really excited about this book and the series!

A Breath of Fresh Air by Allegra Hall

I am in love with Brett and Amaia. They were so sweet; I was rooting for them the whole book! There is something about how Allegra writes that is so beautiful I can't get enough of it.
This was sweet, fun, so spicy! I really enjoy this universe she created. Her characters have depth and are realistic (minus the wolf shifting!) The story was lovely, and if you loved Ellie in A Wolf in the Garden, you are going to just LOVE her mom.
It's one of those books that, even though it's short, stays in my head after and is hard to move on from! What could I possibly read to top this?

Incredible! I loved every story in this. The first and the last ones were really quite sweet, and I liked how they sandwiched the whole anthology. This book provided a little of everything, but every story has a theme of an attitude of sexual positivity and romance/lust. Just really well written, and I never wanted the stories to end! My favorites may have been The Book Club, The Professor, The Rivals, and The Fantasy!
Highly recommend reading! I was provided an ARC and in return am leaving this fair review

This was a cute story; very short and easy to read! The starlight Brides is a cool world but oh my gosh I would be freaking out I thought I'd won a job lottery only to find out I was getting married off!
I wasn't super in love with the MMC, though, because there was a particular scene where the FMC says she would like to wait before he bites her so she can think about it, and in the next scene at the wedding, he bites her without talking further and then it just never gets addressed again. Aside from that, it was a sweet, very quick book. I'm looking forward to finding out what is happening with her Friend on the ship she was on.

THIS WAS AMAZING! I loved part one; it was so sweet and spicy and fun. I was really looking forward to part two, and it was really everything I could hope for!
The unresolved drama between McQuinn and Meggie was just so good, and I loved the really sweet, vulnerable moments between them. It was nice (story-wise) that everything was perfect and easy with all the guys because it made it interesting and allowed for so many good, angsty moments. Harrison and Meggie were everything, and I loved seeing him sort of lose control and be so out of his mind for her. All the guys are outta their minds for Meggie, and it was really sweet how much they all cared for her and each other. They really were a great pack!
I didn't want to put the book down, it was perfectly paced, and I'm so invested in Emily and her situation! I also really loved that Ava had a little bit of redemption in this one. She isn't my favorite, and I don't think she ever would be, but it was nice to see a softer side to her, and I'm glad they didn't just write her off as a mean girl.
I just have to give a special shout-out to the spice in this book because...holy forking shirt balls. It was hot as hell, I thought my kindle was going to overheat and explode. 10.10 this book was amazing, and you should read it.

How cute, I LOVE BEN. He was so kind but a bit awkward and so anxious. He paired SO well with Eleonore, who was a little rough, but honestly, I loved her the most. She was really brave and badass. Given everything she went through and how she handled it, I was impressed. There was a lot of really well-done mental health representation and discussion. I loved that Ben talked about his therapy experience, and it was positive (It's nice to see a positive therapy experience in books!) Ben helped Eleonore, and she helped him heal through their issues.
Even with all the serious issues (Ben and his anxiety, people pleasing, caretaking, etc, and Eleonore and her trust issues, anger issues, and PTSD), the book was REALLY funny. I frequently laughed out loud while reading, and it was such a nice way to lighten it. The whole book was so enjoyable; I loved all the characters, the friends, and the family. I want to live in Glimmer Falls!
Super sweet, funny and kinda spicy read!

I love a spooky small-town romance!!
The vibes from this book were so good; cute small town, falling for the coffee shop owner! the town and the characters were all so easy to love. I really love the little girl group that Cassie eventually gains.
I was rooting for Cassie and Nick from the start. I loved their initial awkward meeting; it was very cute. I did enjoy the ghost story/mystery over the romance, but it's all so intertwined! The ghosts were actually really interesting characters in the book; I liked how invested Cassie was in finding the truth. I wanted the stay in the world a little longer, this book really just felt like sweet, spooky cozy and it was so fun.
I recommend reading with a slice of banana bread! (Or Lemon loaf♥)

My One Night Alien: An Alien Erotica Novella by Lilith Leana

My first Lilith Leana book, and I wanna go read all the rest now! This was short spicy, and sweet !! I Really loved the childfree aspect. It's a small part of the story, but the way he responded so firmly and solidly in his choice instead of saying whatever she wanted really gave me joy. I loved the representation. The spice is SO good, and I loved all the honoring.

This was a fun read, the story was very cute and the flirty banter had me so giddy the whole book! I was completely loving it until the end, like 85%. I just did not like the way the MMC was acting, and I didn't like how he went about making amends with the FMC. It really turned me off to the book because it felt like he wasn't respecting her boundaries and I didn't like when he was like matching her energy but getting verbally aggressive? Idk. I loved every single bit of the book until the end.

Ada + Ulgannnnn
These precious babies. I LOVE them. I would fight for them.
This book! It's got all the good fall cute small-town vibes! I was kicking my feet and giggling the whole book. I'd love to live in this world and get to go to the fall festival and the Dumb Supper! Ah like this town and all the people were so awesome. There was just so much to love in this book.
Ada and Ulgans story was so sweet, I like that they took their time (but not too much time!) they were so smitten it was cute. Allll the consent, it was so good. We love good consent and lots of spice! And Ulgan was so good at being all sexy and protective but also not making Ada seem like shes weak and unable to protect herself? I really like that it felt like he was protective but also supportive.
One big thing I appreciated so much was Ulgans anxiety and how he spoke positively of his experience In therapy. It was just a nice touch to the book, but it made me happy to see the mental health rep; it was validating! And, like really well done because I feel like it wasn't just popped in and then never mentioned, like the mental health struggles for both characters is there throughout the book but its also them not using it as excuses but being aware of their fears/anxieties and just, kudos to Meg because she wrote it so so well.
And Ada with her fears that its too good, ahh she was too sweet, it broke my heart when she was fearful that Ulgan was a cruel joke killed me. But seeing them happy at the end? Dreamy. Just perfect.
Ok, I could go on about how much I loved this book, but I'll just say it is amazing and a must-read.
Also I hope Theo falls in love with a clutter loving messy girl ♥
