This was a short and sweet novella. Lots of spice! I enjoyed how uncomplicated the relationship between the MCs was. The drama in the book only strengthens their relationship. There was no weird miscommunication or anything like that. Tyr is such a big sweetheart, and I appreciate that he wasn't unrealistic. He has insecurities and is trying to do well at work and in his new relationship with his naughty wizard. Alice was great, and in the end, seeing her stand up for herself made me happy.

It's a sweet story, and I enjoyed that it had a lot of spice and little to no drama.

This was a fun book; I am excited to read the rest of the series!
Aqnar is a warrior from the planet Atari, and Marion is a human from the lower levels of Earth. The story is good, but I want to learn more about Atari and their need for women. The story didn't have many side characters, but the other Atari men and the human woman I think we'll see if the next books :P I loved the disability representation in this book! I could relate to Marion and her anxiety and insecurities regarding the mate bond. The book was sweet and had a very happy ending :)

WHAT A SWEET READ! **minor spoilers in review**

Agh, I really loved this book. Lela is just the sweetest person. I wanted to wrap her in my arms and hug her. I could really feel for her and I loved how related she was. D ♥ I didn't think I would fall for a fictional android but here we are. Seeing him show he cares for her in all these little ways was so heartwarming. Researching to make sure she was pleased, the cologne. I liked this so much because the feelings they had for each other were so effortless and simple. They liked being around each other. She was his preferred person. The epilogue was just the perfect bittersweet end to a really lovely story.

“I have had the most marvelous life with you, Lela,” he tells me, kissing my forehead. “Better than any I could have imagined. I love you.”

I am SO excited for this series. I loved the world that T.A. Note created; it is interesting and exciting, and the characters are all so likable, which left me eager to learn more. I am desperate for Shade to have a book. I think they were my favorite characters in the whole book. They seem so broken and lonely, but they are SO kind and caring and I just love them so much.

I appreciated the emphasis on consent in this book. North was always so courteous and caring about Elsie, and it was just so perfect. I loved that he was always wrapping her in blankets. Very emotionally intelligent characters, and even though they were both so deep in dealing with their traumas, they were both working to ensure they could show up for each other. Healing from trauma, especially trauma like the characters experienced, I can't even imagine. I liked their love story; they fell so hard and fast, and the trust they shared was really sweet and felt genuine.
The spice in this book was delicious, with lots of dirty talk and plenty of scenes.

The only thing I didn't love in this book was that I felt like there were many emotional, serious talks/professions of love and support. It was really sweet, but I felt there was too much. It was really lovely to me that the characters were talking, though. This is an Insta love book, but they were both open and honest about their past and struggles and were super supportive of each other.

Overall, I am excited about this series. I'm excited to read Wren and Elon's story!

If you ever read a Rebecca F Kenny book, let it be this one. This story was so captivating! I went in not sure at all what to expect, and I was so happy with this. The book deals with a lot of highly emotional topics (kidnapping, death, pressures of leading, betrayal, abuse), but it manages to not be overly heavy and is surprisingly funny at parts.

I love how unlikeable Serylla tries to make herself! In the beginning, I was seriously worried she was a superficial princess, but she is such a gem. I could never handle being abducted by a dragon while my kingdom fell as well as she did, I really grew to love her as a character even though all I want is for the two MCs to fall in love it is not that easy because they both have a responsibility to their people.

Kyregan is my new favorite dragon of all the dragons. This MAN. This dragon, man. My heart is so full for him, and yours will be too! I was stressed for him with all the things he had on his shoulders, and I don't know how he managed to keep his head up. I adore him.

I don't want to give any spoilers for the story, but just know it is such a joy from start to finish, I was hooked and literally couldn't put it down. I cannot wait for the next dook and the ones to follow so I can fall in love with all the dragons and the humans that choose them!

Please know that this book ends on a cliffhanger, and the second book will be released in September 2024.

Sweet fun read

It’s been awhile since I read the first IPB so it was fun to jump back into the series! The book was easy and sweet. I felt for Kira and her feelings about not being able to resonate/not willing to give in to her feelings because she was fearful of taking away the opportunity for her mate to have a family. I almost wish they didn’t resonate at the end but they remained happy and in love- I think if the book had ended like that though there’s totally a chance I would have wished for it to end like this so don’t trust me
