I don't really read romances and I always thought I preferred when it was by little touches or mixed with another genre. But I really liked this book! The evolution of the relationship between the two characters is really interesting to follow.

Another book that booktok made me buy and which has been on my bookshelf for 2 years...

Honestly, I don't have much to say about this book. It was a little difficult to gett into the story because, to me, it seems like I was only reading moments of life, without any real plot. But afterall, this is what the book is about : moments of life of two teenagers who are discovering their identity and are decided to understand the world.

It's quite a simple story and even if I think it could have been more developped, I really liked the few beautiful thoughts raised by the characters.

Since I wasn't very thrilled at first, I almost gave up reading this. So I spoiled myself a little thing (actually not so little) to motivate myself, and it worked!

I really liked the end of the first part and especially the beginning of the second part because there is a bit of change so it's quite intriguing. But then the story became less and less exciting. It was from this moment that I realized that only the interactions between Ophélie and Thorn interested me 🤡 I really enjoyed seeing the evolution of their relationship, which alternates between arguments and soft attentions.

Individually, I didn't really connect with the characters. Above all, I have a very mixed opinion on Thorn : he seemed detestable to me at the beginning, and the more we really knew him the more I appreciated him but in the end he disappointed me quite a bit (but I know he will redeem himself in the next volumes).

The plot is really promising. The universe is very rich and original, I really liked the contrast between the two arches : one is warm and friendly, the other cold and superficial.

I can't wait to read the next book and see how things will evolve (especially Ophélie and Thorn's relationship) !
