Kathryn Moon is one of my favorite authors. I thoroughly enjoyed this new book in her Monster Smash Agency series. Elias is the only moth fae in Chicago he is lonely and separates himself from his friends. Victoria is a doctoral student doing a study on Monster sexuality. She is over the breakup from her fiance but her family doesn't think she is especially because her sister is engaged to her ex-fiance. Elias starts introducing Victoria to his monster her friends and eventually becomes her research assistant. And btw, Elias has been wanting to fall in love, so Victoria also unbeknownst to her becomes his next project.

This is such a good book because it helps you the reader see there is no shame in what you want sexually in the bedroom through the character of Victoria. Elias is such a giving and open partner.

I thoroughly enjoyed Expiration Dates. This book started off a bit slow for me but ended up being really great and having a good twist that I didn’t see coming. The ending is very open-ended, so if you don’t like those books and want more closure, you probably won’t like this. I typically don’t like those types of books or movies, but I felt this type of ending was perfect for this book. Julia Whelan does an excellent narration of this book. If you wanna listen to it on audiobook. Rebecca’s story about love and loss was heartwarming, emotional, and lovely.

I received this book as an ARC via NetGalley.
