Good book. I liked it more in the beginning. It kinda started to drag towards the end but was enjoyable.

I feel like vandermeer’s works comes down to vibes. Not really much plot but an interesting world written about beautifully with strange and odd characters. And mushrooms!

Super interesting and informative. I think the author does an incredible job of tracing all of these threads throughout the centuries in such a clear and concise way.

Honestly, a good fantasy novel. I think Sanderson does a good job at worldbuilding, plot, and characters. It’s a reread but still excellent.

I think plot wise this book was stronger than the first. But I did find kelsea’s character development a bit odd. There issues she had with herself that I thought didn’t make sense for the world and her past. But overall, I thought it was okay and I’ll read the next.
