This was sexy AF!!! I thing the tandem parts could have been better there were definitely parts the male narrator should have been reading but overall I will be listening to this again as needed 😉😏

This was sooo cute. I honestly can’t decide what I enjoyed more, the ease between them or the way the cake played out. This is my second holiday themed read from this author and I really love the way she builds the instalove through a wholesome obsession between the mains. It’s a plot device that I thoroughly enjoy. Let me find out Charity is rearranging my love languages and pushing physical touch and quality time hire up the list. The pacing was good, and the story was satisfying. The only issue I had was a personal pet peeve, it was how annoying their family members were, something about how pushy they were rubbed my the wrong way. But overall it was so enjoyable and I definitely think you should read this one before any of the others, but after that I don’t think the order matters much.

This was a bookclub selection. It had some cute moments and I love the idea of a Valentine themed Black town founded by a Black couple to celebrate their love. But overall the story had some flow issues and the 3rd act breakup felt forced and out of character for the dynamic of the main’s relationship. I’m not the biggest fan of the author’s writing style but I’d still recommend it as a themed read.

Yall gotta let a Sistah know when you gonna be running a series so I can manage my expectations. The pacing of this really through me off, I could have used more showing and less telling. Cause the shifts from no to yes felt rushed, but the stuff in between felt like filler. I’m not sure how I feel about them getting the HFN, knowing drama is on the menu. Rell said he doesn’t what to be a distraction but that seems like exactly what he’s going to end up being. I guess we’ll see.

This started off as me making my way through one of my favorite author’s catalogues and turned into my favorite book by said author. The signature Aria Daze style of combining hilarious outlandish banter, with glorious spice, and a MMC who is down bad for his girl meet psycho cinnamon roll and the combination was absolutely divine! Also within these pages you’ll find a once forbidden love, kismet tangled connections, a brilliant use of flash forwards, and a story about the complexity of family relationships. I love her writing but this book has me in awe of all she’s capable of. It is well paced and written almost like tv show episodes with places to stop and pick back up effortlessly. Marvin’s obsession with Winnie is perfection and the pint size genius level nymph(o) is adorably lovable. I just can’t get over how much I loved this story!

This was really kind of cheesy but I vibed with Marlow on the need for physical affection and for Dame making the situation work to his advantage. The towel scene with Jag felt real unnecessary and was kind of cringey. I’d recommend it tho for the way Dame handled things from start to finish.

This was a sweet and cute friends to lovers second chance romance. I would have kinda loved it if it turned out that the cookies were why Evan couldn’t help expressing his true feelings but this was still fun, quick, and well written.

The was great for about 50% but by 75% I was kind of over it. Slow burn in a novella is always going to be a tough read for me and I might have waited if I’d known. It was a cute concept but between the slow burn and the repetitive use of certain actions and phrases I just wasn’t invested by the time it got to the end.
