This took a little while to get going and once it did it each step forward felt so minuscule. I loved the mythology and lore, I’m not familiar with it outside of the “well knowns” so it’s always cool and interesting to me. I had to stop and start a lot because physical books are harder to stay with but I have loved the Kalynn since Cinderella is Dead and I love her still. Bri did kind of annoy me with her willingness to just trust people with information that has been so closely guarded. And while I kind of got where she was coming from I think she let her desperation for acceptance blind her. I can’t move on to book two just yet but I have questions and I’m ready for the answers!

It would be Aria Daze that has my “I don’t read second chance romance” headas falling head over heels for a second chance romance. And babe this was Romance! The way these two talked about each other made my heart ache. The pacing of this book was absolutely incredible its felt longer than 104 pages but in the it was a complete story and I’m totally satisfied. But it was a steady pace with everything perfectly timed and despite the potential for angst it was marginal and only there when it was needed. Then you add in Daze’d signature humor, banter, and filth and this was easily a 5 star read. I can’t for all the amazing work she has in store. And what better way to end January than with a NYE story!!

I love the way Aubry writes these comedic sociopath lmao! My favorite part of this story outside of the babies was the was Lynx called out the whole family for the way they played in her face. Like I had a hallelujah shoot when she asked his momma what she asked her!!! This is one of the stories that I can’t tell you exactly why you may or may not like it because the reason I enjoy it is because I love being “with” these characters. Ima read everyone, ima expect a Krude cameo in everyone, ima fangirl out when Monica pop off. These feel like my people and ima love getting to spend time with them every chance I get.
If I’m being technical the book was a little slow to develop and I felt like the thing with Derek at the end didn’t make sense or feel necessary but Fire is going to do the most so I can appreciate the consistency. Overall I love these characters and the author real bad! I’m already ready for the spinoffs for when all the kids grow up lol!!

This audio was perfection!! Like I don’t know how I’ll do audiobooks without tandem narration. On top of the amazing narration the story was hilarious, dark, emotional, and even gory. That last scene in the restaurant almost took me out the game! I am so excited about book two.

This was a classic good girl/bad boy story. It was sexy in the way things are when you’re doing something you shouldn’t. I enjoyed the instant connection and the way Cane got possessive about Laila was so satisfying. I love a good fuck and fall in love.

This was hilarious, fun, and sexy. A time was had. I definitely could have used a little one on one time with Chrissy and each of the guys but overall this was enjoy and entertaining.

You never know with thrillers what kind of ending you’re going to get so my stomach was in knots the entire time especially with that last chapter. But I absolutely enjoyed this, I really didn’t know who to trust or believe. It’s a real testament to how others perception don’t always equal reality. Cause I would have bet money that no every one was who they seemed and in this case I didn’t have anymore pegged completely right. I thought the pacing was really good, I always felt like the story was moving forward, and that I was gaining information even if I didn’t know what to do with it. I definitely could have used an epilogue to get a little closer on Sage and her aunt, the romance lover in me wants a little time with the happy couple, and figure out what happens to the crazy stalker. This was a great read and I love when I’m engaged so much with a story that I’m talking to the characters out loud The bookclub discussion for this one is going to be good!!

Widower romances are low on the list of tropes I like when they aren’t already ready to move forward. It’s one thing to still love someone it’s another to still be in love with them, and who can compete with a ghost. Anyway that part of it was navigated ok but I didn’t love it. I did however love the connection between the mains, something about a person always wanting to touch and hold you is just top tier. It’s the cute, contemporary side of possessive and obsessive. One thing this book did was drive home my bucket list item to visit a uber Christmas town. I think the Christmas vibes were on point and all the food talk had me snacking hard during this read. I didn’t love all the unnecessary recapping but overall the writing was decent and the story was enjoyable.

I have thoughts and feelings a plenty about this one. And I went back and forth on them throughout the story. I saw another review that said good thing they weren’t Adri cause there wouldn’t have been a book and I felt that in my spirit lol! Now the author did a good job of explaining why and I get it but something deep in me wanted Adri to have Chase to himself and I’m a hardcore why choose reader! Overall though this was a good read, I could feel the Christmasy vibes and loved Chase real bad. I had to break my read up a lot so I’m not sure of the pacing but I think the fact these I could put it down and come back to it and get right back into the story to be a huge plus. The little bonus mini story at the end was so good! And I absolutely loved the way these big beautifully woman got men who where obsessed with their bodies and we got a big boy MMC!! This was packed full of goodies!
