This is such a nice book. It doesn't expect much of a reader, which is so relaxing. I really enjoyed it.

Really enjoyed the play on linguistics throughout the novel and the power of words. A delightful read!

On audio, the time jumps and characters are hard to follow. I think I will try again one day in paperback

I don't think I can say a whole lot without spoilers, but this was definitely better than the first one. However... It felt like nothing happened for half the book. I know we need back story, but sheesh.

Made it about halfway.. and just wasn't interested in the characters or where the plot was headed. May try again another time.

The characters were loveable and I enjoyed the central theme of the train. A lovely read!

I put this on hold at the library because some of my favorite reading friends said they loved it. I started it not really knowing what the story was about (typical) and almost stopped when I learned the main character's father had Parkinson's disease, as mine does as well and it felt so close to home.
I'm very glad I stuck it out. This is a wonderful, heartbreaking, beautiful novel.

Wow, where do I start?
Mab Segrest takes readers on an incredible 170 year journey through psychiatry, politics, and prisons.
This was incredibly informative, if dense and time consuming to read.
I'm glad I stuck with it.

So much was packed into this book, but also not much?
Bardugo gives us lots of backstory on the characters we came to love in Ninth House. Some parts seemed a little excessive/unneeded, but overall it flowed very well. It did NOT go where I expected it to go, so I'm interested to see how a third installment would pan out.

Worth your time if you really enjoyed Ninth House!
