Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan
5.0
I loved this book so much! The relationship Bree and Archer have is so special and beautiful. It reminds me of my husband (who also has a disability) and myself. The story was so beautiful and tragic at the same time. Two broken souls finding each other. AND THE ENDING.... I won't spoil it but I was balling.
I will forever love a story about finding and loving yourself so you have the capability to find and love someone else. And any book that makes me cry real tears automatically gets 5 stars for making me invest so much of my heart into the characters.

If I could give this book more stars I would! I cried through the whole thing, and connected on such a deep, personal level with Ellie and Gabriel. Yes this book is about the love between two people, but it’s also about hope, an inner strength, and truly loving yourself first. This might be my favorite book I’ve ever read.

This was probably one of the best books I’ve ever read. I just finished it and I’m honestly at a loss for words. Incredible.
A sad, beautiful, tragic story of a girl who has been left in the worst of circumstances and has to fend for herself to survive.
This book has everything you could want! Rich character development. A murder mystery. Romance. The story of an underdog. And an ending that will blow your mind!!!
I laughed and cried my way through this book in the best way possible.

Really liked this book. It felt like I was reading a Hallmark Movie which I really appreciated after crying through my last book. It was a super quick read. The characters were so relatable, and I loved how real they felt when talking to each other. I like that it flowed naturally instead of feeling stiff. I was so happy with the ending and that Henley found her power. AND GRAEME.... um hello.... I'm in love!
Super witty. Supper fun. Loved the connection to environmental issues!
Super cute story. Perfect book to bring to the beach or a great summer read!

Really loved the perspective of this book. I felt myself having little epiphanies every chapter. It really makes you take a step back and reflect on how you react to life. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this book! Serenity is such a beautiful person. I was crying throughout the book, which to me means good things for the the story line. If I can feel like this is happening to me, like I’m there, I know the author is talented. I am obsessed with Wes and my god the ending had me in a puddle. Such a good read!

Absolutely LOVED this book. Their connection was so intoxicating, I was rooting for them the whole time. The ending had me sobbing so that automatically makes me love the book even more. I love being able to feel the emotion between two characters, I think that says a lot about the author and their ability to tell a story. I felt like I was part of it. Absolutely love it.
It Didn't Start with You: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End the Cycle by Mark Wolynn

I did finish this book... although I really didn't want to. Some of the issued he talked about rubbed me the wrong way. Dealing with trauma is something I've been going through since I was about 5 so I was excited to read this book. I did get some helpful bits in the beginning chapters, BUT I feel the author was too easy going on abuse. That we should forgive and rebuild relationships with those who hurt us. While some people may be able to do that, I don't feel like you can generalize it. I don't think anyone should forgive abuse in any form. I just made me feel uneasy.
I wanted to love it but I just didn't.

Absolutely loved this book! I felt like I was reading a Hallmark Movie, which the author adorably added into the story a few times. LOVED Olive and Adam together. Their connection felt so real because it wasn't love at first sight.... or was it Adam *cough cough*
I also appreciate the idea that Olive had to learn to love herself and believe in herself throughout the story. Without spoiling anything, I really love how the issues in Boston were resolved. Made me love Olive and Adam as characters more.
ALSO.... Chapter 16 and the beginning of 17.... SPICY!!!!!! I mean WOW!
10/10 will be recommending this to all of my friends! Great summer/ beach read.

This book took me on a journey through every single emotion one body can experience. I don't think I can love a story more. I loved the first two books of the ACOTAR series but THIS ONE.... this one took my breath away.
The hope and desperation of the inner circle, the journey through most of the courts, the friendships and love they have for their family... and then to lead into the most epic ending battle I've ever read. Think Avengers End Game final battle.... but fantasy.
I was physically jumping up and down in one chapter, then balling my eyes out the next. And NO I am not exaggerating!
Absolutely amazing. I can't even put into more words what this book made me feel. 100/10 will be recommending this series to every random person I can find for the rest of my life.
